Welcome to the first of what is planned to be a regular update on Muirs on field progress. Each round we will highlight a few teams from across the age spectrum of the club.

The Super 7 Blue team are off to an exciting start, with two ties and a win in their first 3 matches. Mitchell, Ethan and James have all had man-of-the match performances.  The team are making a name for themselves as run-out experts, with 9 opponents finding out not to take on the Super 7 Blues when they are fielding!

The Under 14 Blue side are poised in a tight match with Vermont. At the halfway point, only one run separates the sides in their Round 3 match, with Vermont 4/55 and the Under 14 Blues 2/54. Mitch and Daniel put on a great opening partnership, with Mitch retiring at 25*.

Rain made the latest round of seniors games one-day events. For the Fifths, Jacob and Darren put on a century opening stand, both retiring after bringing up their 50, as the team chased down the target set by Laburnum.

The Vets are 2 games into their season, and for the B Division boys, the ledger stands at 1-1. Some strong batting at the top of the order has seen Phill and Tyson both without a batting average, both men retiring in each match.

We thank our sponsors for their great support of the club, and this week want to highlight Ben’s Bees, The Joy Parade, and LV Financial Solutions.  Please continue to support the businesses that support our club, and let them know you are part of the Muirs!
